By using
advice from the courses I have had
much larger school participation
than I did last year as a Humane
Educator. The principals and
teachers are far more willing to let
me come into the schools when I am
helping them meet required state
standards.

This has been a very inspiring
program—the
method of teaching was very helpful,
especially with the lesson plans.
The advice was full of useful and
relevant information and I feel I
have a much better understanding of
humane education, forming youth
clubs, creating service-learning
projects, and developing
relationships with teachers and
schools. I would definitely
recommend this program to anyone
working in the field of humane
education. Thank you for providing
such an incredible course series!

Simon Says, "Let's Be Kind to
Animals!" imparted a great deal
of knowledge about the development
and likes and dislikes of
preschoolers. The course integrated
understanding of child development
and animal protection knowledge in a
practical way. The course provided
food for thought!
-BJ Thurman
Humane Educator, Workshop Presenter
for the APHE 2009 Conference
I did it! Thank you Stephanie for
being such a motivating and
knowledgeable teacher! Your replies
were always meaningful and helpful.
I have enjoyed the courses and look
forward to taking more in the
future.
